Colonel Golfers Finish 17th at HGCC Invitational

The Christian County Colonels finished in 17th place Monday at Monday’s Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club Boys’ Invitational.

Drew Fincham had the low round for the Colonels with a 90. He carded a 45 on each side of the course.

Jacob Jenkins had a 43 on the front nine and finished with a 93.

Ricky Brewer shot a 102 for the Colonels and Talan Ezell and Tay Martinez both carded a 103.

Landon Hunt of McCracken County and Aidan Hahn of St. Mary each shot a 2-under 69. Hunt won the title on the second playoff hole.

Christian County’s team score of 388 was 13 shots better than Ballard Memorial and 17 shots behind Carlisle County.

McCracken County totaled 308 points to score a 16-shot win over Ohio County.
