Caldwell County golfer Collin Whittington finished in a tie for 12th place at Monday’s Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club Boys’ Invitational.
Whittington shot an 8-over par 79 in a round that included two birdies and a near hole-in-one.
He notched a birdie on each side of the course and rolled his tee shot over the hole on the par-3 17th hole.
Landon Hunt of McCracken County and Aidan Hahn of St. Mary each shot a 2-under 69. Hunt won the title on the second playoff hole.
