The Christian County boys’ golf team hit the course at the Muhlenberg Invitational on Wednesday, finishing 13th with 348 points.
Madisonville-North Hopkins posted a 298 to take the top spot behind a 3rd-place 70 from Paul Harris. Marshall County’s Ryan Stokes and Muhlenberg’s Heath Embry both shot a 69 to finish in a tie for 1st.
Drew Fincham led the Colonels with an 83 to finish just inside the top 50. Jacob Jenkins and Tay Martinez both carded a 95, and Talan Ezell was one shot behind. Ricky Brewer rounded out the scoring for Christian County with a 99.
The Colonels will be back on their home course at Western Hills on Friday when they host the Christian County Invitational.
