Heritage Christian Academy claimed a four-set win over Trigg County in the first volleyball scrimmage of the 2023 season for both teams.
HCA took the first two sets 25-15 and 25-20. Trigg County won the third set 25-18 with the Lady Warriors clinching the fourth set and match win 25-21.
Hadlee Hayes had eight kills and seven assists for HCA.
Heritage Christian begins its first season of KHSAA play on August 14 with a home match against Crittenden County.
Trigg County begins its season on August 14 at McLean County.
