
The Hopkinsville Lady Tigers continued their unbeaten start to the season Monday evening. The Lady Tigers got a big defensive effort and picked up a 4-0 win over Union County at the Stadium of Champions.
Hoptown got a balanced offensive effort in the win, with four different players scoring in the match. Rebecca Wood, Kaylyn Burgess-Lynch, Grace Cansler, and Lauren Jones, all found the net for the Lady Tigers.
DeAijah Tullis and Jaleigha McFarland combined for a big effort in goal to pick up the shutout.
The win improves the Lady Tigers to 2-0-1 on the season. They are set to return to action Tuesday evening when they go on the road to Muhlenberg County.
