The University Heights Academy Blazers will get the chance to defend their 2nd Region All A Classic boys soccer championship Saturday evening. The Blazers advanced to the championship match with a 4-0 win over Lyon County Tuesday evening at Heritage Christian Academy.
The match was not quite as close as the score would indicate as the Blazers controlled the flow of play from the very beginning. Limiting the Lyons to no shots on goal for the match, while the Blazers finished the night with 11 shots.
The final score might have been worse for the Lyons had it not been for the solid play in goal from junior Jackson Crawford, who made several saves over the course of the match.
Clayton Lester rocketed home a shot at the 21:00 mark to put the Blazers up 1-0. Nine minutes later, it was Logan Miller coming towards the right-hand side of the net and push a shot into the left side of the goal to push the lead out to 2-0.

Griffin McCoy found the net at the 51:30 mark after stealing a pass and running down the field and the Blazers were up 3-0. The scoring for University Heights ended with McCoy finishing a run down the middle with a goal at 62:30 to make it 4-0.
The win, which was the Blazers second straight, improves UHA to 2-3-1 on the season and moves the Blazers into the regional championship match against Caldwell County Saturday night at Crittenden County High School.
Lyon County falls to 0-2 with the loss.
