Former University of Kentucky receiver Jeff Piecoro, who is the WTVQ-TV sports director, appreciates what UK defensive coordinator Brad White has done.
Piecoro might have been an offensive player but he knows how good White’s defenses have been at Kentucky.
How can Kentucky continue to keep White in Lexington?
“Just keep adding zeros to his paycheck,” Piecoro, who works with Tom Leach on the UK Radio Network said. “Just look at what he has done the last two years against Georgia.
“The Bulldogs won national championships the last two years and their offense has been a machine. But when they played Kentucky, it was an absolute war because of Kentucky’s defense.”
Piecoro understands Georgia won both games and nationally most fans probably did not pay that much attention to how well the UK defense played.
“For the Kentucky defense to be able to come up with that type of performance both years against the team that eventually won the national championship is just amazing,” Piecoro said.
“Everybody I talk to says one guy who does not get enough credit for what he does at UK is Brad White and I totally agree.”

We need to keep White and Coen. If Kentucky wants to be contender in the SEC, they are going to have to pay these two to keep them here. In reality, they are more valuable to the team than Stoops is.
Stoops is the one that brings in these good coaches.
