Hopkinsville Tigers ‘Thunder’ Past the Storm 7-0

The Hopkinsville Tigers put an emphatic end to their three-match losing skid Tuesday evening on the road at Mortons Gap. Five different Tigers found the net as Hopkinsville rolled past Hopkins County Central 7-0.

Hoptown had a 2-0 lead at the break and then blew the match open with five unanswered goals in the second half of play.

Alex Ramirez and Cesar Sotel had two goals each for the Tigers. Kyler Delvecchio, Thieng Nguyen, and Rayan Bernal added a goal apiece for the Tigers.

Gavin Harton finished the night with 2 assists. Kyler Delvecchio, Alex Ramirez, Lester Macario, and Thieng Nguyen had an assist apiece as well.

Hopkinsville now improves to 2-3 on the season with the win. The Tigers now get a week off before an August 22 matchup against the Christian County Colonels.
