
The Hopkinsville girls’ soccer team settled for a draw for the second-straight outing after playing hosts Muhlenberg County to a 2-2 stalemate on Tuesday.
The Lady Tigers stayed undefeated at 2-0-2 with a trip to Madisonville-North Hopkins coming up on Thursday. The Lady Maroons have won the last seven in the series dating back to 2016.
Grace Cansler netted her team-leading fifth goal for the Lady Tigers, and freshman Kaydon Coats found the back of the net for the fourth time this season.
Kaylyn Burgess-Lynch added an assist for Hopkinsville, and goalkeeper DeAijha Tullis made five saves.
For Muhlenberg, Elle Groves scored twice with an assist from Lilly Darr. Madison Teague was busy between the posts with 11 saves.
