The Todd County Central Lady Rebels had a night of firsts Tuesday. The Lady Rebels picked up their first win of the 2023 season while at the same time handing the Franklin-Simpson Lady Wildcats their first loss of the season as the Lady Rebels picked up the 13th District road win in penalty kicks.
The match was tied at 1-1 through the end of regulation and remained tied through two five-minute golden goal sudden-death overtime periods before the Lady Rebels finally claimed the win by outscoring Franklin-Simpson 4-3 in the PK round.
Ava Scott had Todd Central’s goal in the match. On defense, Darby Delph had a big night in goal, finishing the match with 13 saves.

The win improves Todd County Central to 1-1 on the season and 1-0 in 13th District play.
The Lady Rebels are set to be back in action Thursday when they travel to Muhlenberg County.
