The Hopkinsville Lady Tigers were handed their first loss of the season Thursday evening. Madisonville-North Hopkins broke open a scoreless match scoring eight unanswered goals over the final 68 minutes to take an 8-0 2nd Region win over the Lady Tigers.
The Lady Maroons got a big night from Madison Hill, who finished the night with four goals. Kailey Barber, Shelby Chandler, McKinley Wilson, and Hadley Hodges added one goal each for Madisonville.
Wilson and Hannah McKinsey added an assist each for the Lady Maroons.
The loss drops Hopkinsville to 2-1-2 on the year, while Madisonville improves to 2-1. The Lady Maroons lone loss came to Greenwood in the opening match of the season.
The Lady Tigers are now off until next Thursday night when they host Warren East at the Stadium of Champions.
