The Ohio County Eagles gave a strong indication Thursday evening of why they are usually one of the contenders in boys’ soccer in the 3rd Region. Five different players found the net for Ohio County as they picked up a 7-1 home-field win over the Trigg County Wildcats.
Brennan Lee and Kevin Robles had two goals each to lead the Eagles in the win. Angel Sandria finished with two assists.
The Eagles have won four of their six matches on the season, losing to Central Hardin and tying North Hardin.
Trigg County keeper Cameron McCormick was credited with 24 saves in the match.
The loss drops the Wildcats to 0-2 on the season. They return to action Monday evening for their home opener as they take on the Fort Campbell Falcons.
