Hopkinsville Lady Tigers Claim Fourth at Christian County Season Opener

The Hopkinsville Lady Tiger cross country team had two runners finish in the top twelve at the Christian County Season Opener Saturday.
Lauren Mayes was the first Lady Tiger across the finish line, as the sophomore completed the 3.1-mile course in 23:59.
Rebecca Wood was 12th in 24:21, Alexis Herrera Leveto was 21st in 25:49, and freshman Kaydon Coats was 26th in 26:22.
Evelyn Bangart rounded out the top five for Hopkinsville with a 45th-place finish, and Luanna Acree was 54th in 31 minutes and 56 seconds.
Fort Campbell 7th grader Emmie Underwood won the race in a time of 19:46.
Hopkinsville finished in fourth place with 92 points, which was 27 points ahead of fifth place Logan County and just four points behind third-place Webster County. Bowling Green won the team title with 48 points
