After claiming last season’s All-A Region golf title at Deer Lakes Golf Course and following that with a 16th-place finish at state, Lyon County’s Travis Perry missed repeating by a single stroke on Saturday at Pennyrile State Park.
Crittenden County’s Jeremiah Foster fired a 73 to edge Perry by a stroke, leading the Rockets to a second-straight region team title. Perry’s round matched his winning score from a year ago.
Brady Shoulders carded a 77 to finish 5th for the Lyons, and Grant Wiggins added a 95.
Jack Reddick ended the day with a score of 97, and Cooper Collins carded a 102.
