Murray Turns Back Heritage Christian in Four Sets

The Heritage Christian Academy Lady Warriors put up a battle on the volleyball court Saturday but would end up falling to the Murray Lady Tigers. Murray picked up its third straight win of the season by turning back HCA in four sets.

The Lady Warriors claimed the first set, winning it in close fashion 25-23.

Murray then came battling back to take the second 25-16. The next two sets were close and came down to late in the set before the Lady Tigers won each 25-21 and 25-21.

Katie Cansler had a big day for the Lady Warriors with 12 kills, 16 digs, and 5 service aces. Bralee Fowler finished with six kills, 12 digs, and four aces.

Another solid performance for Hadlee Hayes, who came up with four kills, 10 assists, and 15 digs.

HCA returns to action Monday evening as they travel to Elkton to take on the Todd County Central Lady Rebels.
