She has been outstanding for several seasons on the soccer field for the University Heights Academy Lady Blazers, but there is much more than her athletic prowess to Audrey Grise. It is those things she does off the field that makes Audrey this week’s Chick-fil-A ‘Triple A.’
Audrey has also been exceptional in the classroom over the past few years. She has maintained a GPA above 4.0 since her sophomore year. And, she has been an AP and dual credit student with four college-level classes over the past two years and four more this year.
She has also been active in her school community. Audrey has been involved with Senior Beta and the National Honor Society, with both of those organizations requiring at least 30 hours of community service annually. She has also been a part of the Kentucky Youth Assembly and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at University Heights.

The Kentucky Youth Assembly is an expanded, educational opportunity in which students serve as part of a model state government. KYA offers students the opportunity to learn about a wide variety of issues, develop critical thinking skills, and articulate their beliefs while engaging constructively with their peers from around the Commonwealth.
Outside of school, Audrey has found time to be involved in her community-at-large. She participated in the Youth Leadership program. Youth Leadership is a program that engages high school students into the community while providing an opportunity to learn more about the community and how participants can make it a better place, along with important leadership qualities. Each month there would be a day set aside where those in the program would travel to different sites and learn about individual aspects of the community, like Fort Campbell, Jennie Stuart Health, and the Christian County Justice Center. As a part of the community service efforts of the program, Audrey was involved in helping out the Aaron McNeil House. The majority of the time was spent helping out at the Thursday night “Breaking Bread Dinner Church” where the students would assemble meals and snack bags for families.

Through her involvement with SubDeb, Audrey has also had the opportunity to be involved with Grace & Mercy, the Pink Ribbon Network, and St. Luke Free Clinic.
Audrey attends New Work Fellowship and is an active member of the church’s youth group.

As for what her plans are after she graduates next spring, Audrey says she plans to attend the University of West Florida and major in Nursing, with a track toward becoming a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.
Oh, and then there is her time playing soccer for the Lady Blazers and being one of the leaders on the team, which has a good shot at winning the regional championship.
A busy and accomplished young lady, with more great things ahead in her future. This week’s Chick-fil-A ‘Triple A’ is University Heights Academy’s Audrey Grise.
