After being held scoreless for most of the match, the Todd County Central Rebels scored twice in the final 15 minutes to take a 2-1 win over St. Mary Saturday in a match played in Murray. The Rebels had been scheduled for a second match against the Murray Tigers, but that match had to be stopped just nine minutes in due to thunderstorms in the area.

The Rebels controlled the early going in the match but could not find the net. The two teams battled each other to a scoreless tie at the half.

That score would hold until Zack Robinson hit a crossing pass from left to right about 6 yards in front of the goal where Chi Herra put it into the net and put Todd Central up 1-0. St. Mary, however, would not go quietly.

The Vikings found the net from 35 yard out to even the score at 1-1.

With 5 minutes left, dealing with St. Mary pressure, Zack Robinson got the ball at midfield, and sent a perfect pass over the top of the defense to Charlie Campbell, who found the goal for what would turn out to be the game winner.

St Mary had one last gasp to try and tie the match, but Trey Osborne cleared it off the line to preserve the win for the Rebels.

Todd County Central moves to 4-3 on the season. The Rebels will host Logan County in a 13th District contest Thursday evening in Elkton.
