The Todd County Central Lady Rebels made their second trip to Owensboro in three days Saturday. The Lady Rebels traveled up to Owensboro Catholic to take on two of the 3rd Region’s top teams in Whitesville Trinity and Owensboro Catholic.
It was back on Thursday night that the Lady Rebels had been in Owensboro to take on Apollo.
Todd County Central opened the day with a match against the Lady Aces. Owensboro Catholic, who would also pick up a win over Whitesville Trinity Saturday, displayed why they are one of the favorites in the 3rd Region by taking care of the Lady Rebels 25-12, 25-14, and 25-19.
The Lady Rebels would then square off against Trinity in their second match of the day. The Lady Raiders took care of business against the Lady Rebels, winning in straight sets 25-10, 25-19, and 25-18.
The two losses drop the Lady Rebels to 4-4 on the year. They return to the court Tuesday when they host Logan County.
