It was a tough trip northward for the Hopkinsville Tigers Thursday night. The Henderson County Colonels celebrated Senior Night by scoring early and often as they rolled to a 10-0 win over the Tigers.
The win was the third straight shutout for the Colonels. Over those three matches Henderson County has outscored their opponents 26-0.
Jack Gentry led Henderson with three goals. Cole Branson and Carson Weiss scored two each.
Carsen Emmick had a quiet night in goal for Henderson County finishing with two saves.
Jackson Smith and Caleb Shull split time in goal for Hopkinsville. Smith finished with ten saves while Shull had six.
The loss drops Hopkinsville to 2-4 on the season. The Tigers are back in action this weekend as they go on the road to take part in the Purples Classic in Bowling Green.
