It was a pretty good way to rebound, maybe a little close, but still a good way to rebound. After losing for the first time this season a week earlier, the Trigg County Lady Wildcats hit the road Thursday evening for a district soccer match against the Crittenden County Lady Rockets.

A win would put the Lady Wildcats in the catbird’s seat in the running for the top seed in the district tournament. While it was not easy, the Lady Wildcats picked up the road win, going to penalty kicks to get past the Lady Rockets 3-2.

The win gets the Trigg County Lady Wildcats back on the winning track after losing their first game of the season against Calloway County on August 24 in the Kentucky 2A sectional championship match.

The Lady Wildcats improved to 7-1 on the season and 2-0 in 5th District play.
