Lauren Mayes’ top ten finish paced the Hopkinsville High Lady Tiger cross country team Saturday at the Calloway County Invitational in Murray.
Mayes, a sophomore, finished in 7th place with a time of 23:43. Fort Campbell’s Emmie Underwood won the race in a time of 20:11.
Freshman Kaydon Coats finished in 16th place for Hopkinsville with a time of 25:24, and Alexis Herrera Loveto was 25th in 26:59.
Rebecca Wood finished 29th for Hopkinsville and Evelyn Bangart was 44th with Luanna Acree bringing home a 59th place finish.
Hopkinsville’s team total of 78 points was three points behind third-place McCracken County and five points behind second-place Calloway County.
Fort Campbell won the team title with 62 points.
