
Taylor Morris brought home a top 10 finish from Saturday’s Calloway County Cross Country Invitational and ran Christian County’s fastest time in eight years in the process.
The Lady Colonel junior finished in eighth place with a time of 23:54. It was not only a personal best time for Morris but was the fastest time run by a Lady Colonel since Cor’Lissia Cunningham ran a 21:18 at the 2015 Class 3A state meet.
Julia Munoz finished in 46th place and Haddassuh Elkins placed 64th.
Fort Campbell’s Emmie Underwood won the race with a time of 20:11 over the 3.1-mile course.
