Emma Dowell continues to take her golf score lower and reach new milestones on the course.
Dowell shot a round of 88 at Saturday’s Christian County Invitational at Western Hills Golf Course.
For the Trigg County sophomore, it marked her first round below 90 and was good for a 14th-place finish.
Her round included five pars and nothing worse than a double bogey. She shot a 45 on the front nine and a 43 on the back nine.
University Heights Academy’s Conlee Lindsey shot a 75 to take first place.
