The UHA Lady Blazers picked up their 12th win in a row Thursday night and did so in impressive fashion. The Lady Blazers rolled to a straight-set home court win over the Todd County Central Lady Rebels 25-11, 25-21, and 25-17.
With the sweep, University Heights has now won 28 straight sets. Their last set loss came in the second set of a three-set win against Bullitt East in the Apollo Summer Slam.
A big night for Julia Thomas at the net as the senior finished with ten kills for the Lady Blazers. Olivia Oakley added eight for UHA.
Chayse Gilliland had three solo blocks and three assisted blocks for University Heights.

Sarah Peebles was her usual self at setting the table for her teammates, finishing with 23 assists.
For the Todd County Central Lady Rebels, Aubri Penick led the attack with four kills. Alyssa Wofford added three.
Callie Chapman was also big at the net, coming up with seven blocks.
Shelby Holderman led Todd Central with eight assists. Chloe Willis finished with seven.
Lynnlee Jones had to leave the match during the third set for the Lady Rebels. Jones was injured Tuesday night in the Lady Rebels’ match against Franklin-Simpson.
UHA now moves to 14-1 on the season.
With the loss, which was their sixth in a row, the Lady Rebels drop to 4-7.
