Lady Blazers Stay Unbeaten With Win at Lyon County

Make it six in a row to start the season for the University Heights Academy Lady Blazers. The Lady Blazers got hat tricks from Audrey Grise and Kendall Hancock as they picked up a big 8-2 road win Thursday evening at Lyon County.

The Lady Blazers got on the scoreboard early as Audrey Grise took a pass from Audrey Perry and found the net just 30 seconds in to take a 1-0 lead. Perry scored on a direct kick at 5:00 to extend the lead to 2-0.

Anna White cut into the UHA lead when she found the net for the Lady Lyons at 24:00 to make it a 2-1 match.

The rally was short-lived as Audrey Grise scored twice in the final ten minutes of the half to give UHA a 4-1 lead at the break.

Cecilia Langhi dropped in a shot over the outstretched arms of the Lyon County keeper at 44:45 to push the lead to 5-1. Then, it was Kendall Hancock time. She found the net three times over a six-minute span to blow the lead out to 8-1 with just under 25 minutes left in the match.

Lyon County would add a late goal in the final 30 seconds to get to the final score of 8-2.

UHA improves to 6-0 with the win. The Lady Blazers have outscored their opponents 47 to 3 so far this season.

Lyon County’s two goals were the most scored by any opponent against the Lady Blazers this season. The Lady Lyons drop to 5-3-1 with the loss.
