Muhlenberg County got two goals apiece from Oak Shain and Nate Harper while defeating Lyon County 6-1 in boys’ soccer action Thursday night in Greenville.
Hayden Ashby had a goal and three assists for the Mustangs, who are now 5-3-1. Edwar Melendez had a goal and an assist while Jacob Oates added an assist.
Shain and Carter Knowles each had three saves in the Muhlenberg net.
With the setback, Lyon is now 1-7-1.
The Lyons play again Saturday night when they visit Logan County.
