Six different players found the net for Bowling Green Saturday as the Purples rolled to a 10-0 win over the Hopkinsville Tigers. The loss was the 5th straight for the Tigers, who have been running through a gauntlet of a schedule so far this season.
Braden Widener had three goals for the Purples. Moises Mendez and Eder Jerez finished with two goals each.
The Purples’ defense was lock down in the match as Bowling Green goalie Henderson Wiggins had only one save.
The Tigers return to action Monday evening as they host Trigg County at the Stadium of Champions.
