Noah Rager finished in a tie for 55th place during his first appearance at the All A Classic State Golf Tournament Saturday in Richmond.
The Todd County Central freshman shot a 14-over par 86 at the Gibson Bay Golf Course.
He shot identical 43s on each side and had three pars on each side of the course.
Rager finished 18 shots behind the winner, Hancock County’s Dec Lewko, whose round of 68 included five birdies and only one bogey.
