Caldwell County’s golfers edged Lyon County by the narrowest of margins Monday at Princeton Golf Club.
In a make-up match from last week’s rained out round, the Tigers tripped the Lyons by just one shot, 183-184.
Both sides played without two of their top players in the highly-competitive matchup on the road side (holes 1 and 11-18) on Caldwell’s home course.
Cole Wyatt led the Tigers on Monday with a 4-over-par 40. Ryan Hammett carded a 45 while Scott Cortner and Cruz Egbert each shot 49.
Caldwell will hold Senior Day on Tuesday when Hopkins County Central visits Princeton Golf Club.
Lyon will also play again on Tuesday, hosting Crittenden County at The Cullan at Mineral Mound State Park.
