A pair of Heritage Christian Academy runners were among those competing over the weekend in Hopkins County. Freshman Mekena Dalke and senior Carmie Baker represented the Lady Warriors at the Storm Invitational hosted by Hopkins County Central.
Dalke finished her run with a time of 24:25.35. That time was good enough to place her sixth in the race, less than two minutes behind the winner, Katie Gillette, of Madisonville-North Hopkins.
Carmie Baker finished in 28th place.
