Caldwell’s Girls Shut Out St. Mary 2-0

Caldwell County’s girls won for the second time in their last three matches and inched closer to the .500 mark Tuesday at Paducah St. Mary.

The Lady Tigers got one goal in each half while shutting out the host Lady Vikings 2-0.

It was Caldwell’s fourth shutout of the season.

Addie Middleton scored in the 19th minute with help from Brooklyn Hillyard to put the Lady Tigers up 1-0.

Keegan Miller gave Caldwell some breathing room when she scored in the 50th minute to make it 2-0.

It was Miller’s team-high 10th goal of the season.

The Lady Tigers are now 6-7 this season while St. Mary falls to 1-6.

Caldwell now leads the all-time series 9-4-1.

The Lady Tigers are now off until Monday, when they will host Paducah Tilghman at Butler Stadium.
