University Heights Academy had three golfers shoot in the 80s at Tuesday’s Region 2 Golf Tournament at Ben Hawes State Park in Owensboro.
Wade Foster led the Blazers with a round of 86 that included a 41 on the back nine.
Hayden Hunt and Cal Givens each shot an 88. Hunt had a 41 on the back nine, while Givens shot a consistent 45 on the front and 43 on the back.
Courtland Gibson shot a 93, and Drew Fields added a 104.
UHA shot a team score of 355 to finish in 14th place, which was five shots behind 13th place Apollo.
Ohio County’s Seth Moore won the individual title with a 1-under-par 70, helping the Eagles to a two-shot team title over Madisonville.
