With Michael Webb leading the way, the Christian County Colonels came up with a Top 10 finish at one of the area’s top cross country meets of the season over the weekend. The Cololonel scored 253 points, which placed them 9th in the team competition of the Marshall County Invitational.
Father Ryan High School ‘ran’ away with the event, taking first place with 34 points. Carbondale was second with 117 points.
Individually, Michael Webb was Christian County’s top finisher for the day. Webb finished 19th with a time of 18:00.04. More than 200 runners took part in the boys’ meet.
Brice Nelson, of Webster County, finished first at 16:39.23. Ryder Ortner, of Father Ryan, was second.
