Heritage Christian Academy freshman MeKena Dalke continues to show that she is among the top cross-country runners in the area. Dalke competed in the Marshall County Invitational over the weekend and just missed out on a Top 20 finish.
Dalke finished the race in a time of 23:11.41 which put her in 21st place for the girls’ event. More than 120 runners competed in the race.
Lydia Brunner, of Father Ryan High School, took first place with a time of 18:37.69. Father Ryan had seven of the top 20 finishers in the race.
