The Hopkinsville Lady Tigers continued to make some strides on the volleyball court over the weekend. The Lady Tigers picked up a pair of wins at the annual wRECk at the Plex.
The Lady Tigers played a pair of matches Friday evening to get their appearance in the event started. They dropped a straight-set match to Henderson County (25-11, 25-12) and picked up a three-set win over the Fort Campbell Lady Falcons (25-23, 17-25, and 15-13).
Hopkinsville came back Saturday and won one of their three matches for the day. The win came against Caldwell County (25-22, 25-18), while the losses were to Heritage Christian (25-18, 25-19) and to Todd County Central (25-8, 25-10).
With the weekend results, the Lady Tigers now stand at 6-11 for the season. They are set to host University Heights Tuesday evening.
