
The Todd County Central Lady Rebels picked up their third win in a row Tuesday night. Facing the Heritage Christian Academy Lady Warriors for the second time in four days, the Lady Rebels picked up a straight-set win on the Lady Warriors’ home floor.
The Lady Rebels controlled the match from the outset. Todd County Central took the opening set 25-10 to go up 1-0.
HCA made Todd Central work a bit harder in the second set, but still, it was the Lady Rebels taking the 25-19 win, extending their match lead to two sets to none.
The Lady Rebels then closed out the match by taking the third set 25-15 to complete the sweep.
Lynnlee Jones led the Todd County Central attack at the net with 11 kills and four blocks. Allyssa Wofford added eight kills for the match. Shelby Holderman had another big night setting the table for the Lady Rebels, finishing with 17 assists.
Katie Cansler finished with 8 kills for HCA. Makenzie McCarty added seven assists and three service aces.
Todd County Central improves to 12-12 with the win. The Lady Rebels return to action Friday as they head to Paducah for the Quad State Tournament.
Heritage Christian falls to 10-17. The Lady Warriors travel to Madisonville-North Hopkins Thursday night.
