The Lyon County Lady Lyons appear to be getting things rolling at just the right time. The Lady Lyons won for the fifth time in their last six matches as they cruised past Mayfield 6-1 on the road Tuesday night.
Anna White got the hat trick to lead the Lady Lyons. The three goals give her 28 on the season.
Alice Smith scored twice in the match, giving her 52 goals for the year. With the goals, Smith hit the 100 goal mark for her career at Lyon County High School.
Lyon County’s other score came from Gracelynn Taylor. Olivia Adams assisted on two of the Lyon County goals.
Richmond Herring and Sadie Gandee combined for four saves in goal for the Lady Lyons.
The loss was the 7th straight for the Lady Cardinals.
Lyon County improves to 10-5-1 with the win. The Lady Lyons host Graves County Thursday night in the regular season finale.
