
With the regular season winding down and teams looking to build momentum going into the postseason, the Christian County girls’ soccer team put a three-game skid behind it with a 6-2 victory on Tuesday at Russellville.

Christian County’s Alayah Lander banged in four goals to take her season total to sixteen, the most for the program since Kimberly Hyde found the back of the net 24 times in 2011.
Cayleigh Clay scored and provided a pair of assists, Carliah Hobson added a goal, and Jayleigh Campbell set one up. Goalkeeper Jayda Turner made ten stops for the Lady Colonels.
Russellville lost for the first time in four outings to slip to 8-5 overall.
