Been a tough stretch against teams from Graves County for the Lyon County Lyons. After dropping an 11-1 decision to Graves County on Saturday at the Colonel Showcase, the Lyons traveled to Mayfield to take on the Cardinals Tuesday night.
Mayfield’s offense was running in high gear when the Lyons arrived as the Cardinals claimed an 11-1 decision over the Lyons. The win was the second straight for the Cardinals.
Lyon County’s goal was scored by Zach Radivonyk, with Deven Guess providing the assist.
Jackson Crawford and Will Dunning combined to come up with 16 saves in goal.
The loss drops the Lyons to 3-13-1 on the season. The Lyons will close out the regular season Thursday when they get a rematch against Graves County at Lee S. Jones Park.
