Todd County Central’s first game coming out of the All A Classic State Tournament was a 1-1 tie at Trigg County on Tuesday.
After a scoreless first half, Cole Gilbert scored off a pass from Zack Robinson six minutes into the second half to give the Rebels a 1-0 lead. For Gilbert, it was his sixth goal of the season.
It appeared the Rebel defense would make that goal stand up until Marlee Reeves evened the game at 1-1 in the 66th minute. For Reeves, it was his third goal of the season.
The tie was the first in the 11-game series between the schools. Trigg is 6-4 against the Rebels in the other 10 matches.
