The Hopkinsville Lady Tigers put an emphatic end to a four-match losing skid Thursday evening. The Lady Tigers traveled to Marion and handled the Crittenden County Lady Rockets 11-1.
Hopkinsville got a big match from Kaydon Coats, who led the Lady Tigers’ effort with 4 goals. Kendall Mayes and Kaylyn Lynch had 2 goals each. Rebecca Wood, Azaa Enkhtugs, and Jaleigha McFarland also found the net for Hopkinsville.
Wood had 2 assists, Lynch and Coats had 1 each.
DeAijah Tullis and Hollie Simmons shared the win in goal for the Lady Tigers.
Elizabeth Campbell scored the only goal for Crittenden County. Kodi Stoner had the assist on the goal.
The Lady Tigers finish the regular season at 8-7-2. They will begin postseason play Tuesday evening when they battle the Christian County Lady Colonels in the semifinals of the 8th District tournament at the Stadium of Champions.
