Centre College soccer players Riley Givens, a sophomore from Louisville, and Cara Francke, a senior from Louisville, have signed NIL (name, image & likeness) deals with Big Brothers Big Sisters, a renowned youth mentoring organization committed to changing lives for the better.
A news release from “The 1926 Collective” called it a “significant milestone” for one of the few Division III collectives nationally and perhaps the only one strictly for female athletes. The release noted the collective was “thrilled to unveil a significant partnership that brings together the world of women’s athletics and community impact.”
Chris Peck, president and CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters in Lexington, understands the impact his organization has and is “thrilled” to have the two Centre College soccer players on board.
“Big Brothers Big Sisters has an incredible track record of making a difference in so many lives, and we are thrilled to be partnering with Riley and Cara to promote BBBS at Centre and within the Danville community,” Peck said in the release.
The Centre athletes are just as excited about the opportunity.
“I am honored to enter into this partnership with such an incredible organization. Partnering with Big Brothers Big Sisters allows us to give back to our communities in a profound way,” Francke said.
“The dedication of Big Brothers Big Sisters to positively impacting the lives of young people aligns perfectly with my values. I am excited to dedicate my time to helping them accomplish their mission,” Givens said.
The 1926 Collective strives to connect athletes with companies that have common interests and goals, to ensure a fruitful partnership for the athlete and the business.
“Givens and Francke are two athletes that exemplify the values of teamwork and dedication, both on and off the field, making them ideal partners for Big Brothers Big Sisters,” the news release said.
