Kentucky’s football recruiting has been trending in an upward direction recently and could take another big step soon.
Four-star edge rusher Brian Robinson of Ohio has been a recruiting target for Kentucky and recruiting coordinator Vince Marrow for a long time. He’s had Kentucky near the top of his recruiting list but speculation has been that he was continuing to wait for an offer from Ohio State even though he has a slew of big-time offers already.
Recently 247Sports director of recruiting Steve Wiltfong made a prediction that Robinson will sign with the Wildcats.
The 6-5, 255-pound is a workout enthusiast and often shares on social media the strict diet he stays on to take care of his body. He’s a top 100 player nationally in the 247Sports rankings and No. 7 overall player at his position.
Robinson has indicated he’s close to making his college choice and he is scheduled to be in Lexington Saturday when the Cats host Florida and if the visit goes well again, this could be the weekend he makes a commitment to UK.
