Lady Falcons Close Regular Season with Loss at Russellville

The Fort Campbell Lady Falcons will now set their sites on the soccer postseason. The Lady Falcons wrapped up the regular season Thursday night, dropping a 4-1 decision on the road at Russellville.

The loss was the third in a row for the Lady Falcons, who have two wins on the season.

Offensive struggles continued to plague Fort Campbell. With the goal they scored Thursday night, the Lady Falcons have scored five total goals on the season.

Ja’eda Poindexter scored twice for the Lady Panthers. Jasmine Kennedy and Rayleigh Roberts also had goals for Russellville. Crissy Higgins and Brooklyn Morris had one assist each.

The loss drops Fort Campbell to 2-10 for the season. The Lady Falcons open district tournament play Tuesday evening when they take on top-seeded University Heights Academy in an 8th District semifinal at the Stadium of Champions.
