Lyon County’s girls got two goals from Anna White but had to settle for a 2-2 draw with Graves County in Thursday’s Senior Night game in Eddyville.
Alice Smith had an assist for Lyon, which finishes the regular season at 10-5-2.
White put Lyon up early with a goal in the 9th minute, but Graves (5-7-1) tied things in the 14th.
White again gave the Lady Lyons the advantage in the 15th minute when she beat the goalkeeper to the ball and passed it into an open net to make it a 2-1 ballgame.
But the visiting Lady Eagles struck early in the second half to again knot the score — and that’s how the game ended.
Richmond Herring had 13 saves in the Lyon net.
The Lady Lyons will host the 5th District tournament next week. Lyon will face Crittenden County in a semifinal matchup on Monday at 5:30.
