It was not a first-place finish, but it was not far off Saturday for Fort Campbell’s Emmie Underwood. The 7th grader picked up a second-place finish at the Ryan Snellen Bruin Rumble at the Hardin County Fairgrounds.
Underwood finished her race in a personal-best time of 19:13.51. That time placed her second for the day. Isabella Day, of LaRue County, took first place with a time of 19:08.74.
As a team, the Lady Falcons finished 4th with 88 points. LaRue County took team honors with 43 points. Central Hardin was second with 57 points.
