The Todd County Central Lady Rebels will be looking to go back-to-back as the high school soccer postseason gets underway this week. The Lady Rebels will take on Franklin-Simpson Monday evening at 5:30pm at Logan County High School in the semifinals of the 13th District girls’ soccer tournament.
The Lady Rebels claimed the title in 2022 with a pair of 1-0 wins, over Russellville and Logan County.
Todd County Central split their regular season matches this year. The Lady Rebels won 4-3 in penalty kicks at Franklin. The Lady Wildcats returned the favor later in the season, winning 1-0 in overtime in Elkton.
The second semifinal will be played Tuesday evening at 5:30 when host Logan County squares off against crosstown rival Russellville. The two teams split their contests this season. The Lady Cougars won 2-1 on their home field, while the Lady Panthers won 1-0 on their home turf.
The 13th District girls’ championship match will be played Thursday evening at 5:30 at Logan County.
