Austin Crick finished tied for 65th place at the Leachman Buick GMC Cadillac KHSAA State Golf Championships held at the Bowling Green Country Club.
The Madisonville-North Hopkins senior opened with an 11-over-par 83 on Friday. His round consisted of eight pars and a birdie.
Saturday’s final round featured weather that was 30 degrees colder and more windy, but Crick finished strong with a 38 on the back nine and shot a round of 87.
It was Crick’s first trip to the state golf championships after making it through the state first round at the Calvert City Country Club.
