This week’s Jersey Mike’s ‘Player of the Game’ for the week of October 2 is University Heights Academy’s Audrey Perry. Audrey was selected based on her performance in the Lady Blazers 5-0 8th District championship win over Hopkinsville.
Audrey scored two goals in helping to lead the Lady Blazers to the title. She scored the opening goal of the match, which put UHA in the lead for good, and she finished off the scoring with a penalty kick goal early in the second half of play. Those two goals give her 20 for the season.
The Jersey Mike’s ‘Player of the Game’ is selected each week from one of the five schools in Christian County based on their performance in a big game that week.
