
The Trigg County Lady Wildcats picked up its first win of the volleyball season Thursday and gave coach Madison Rogers her first victory as varsity coach.
The Lady Wildcats beat Fulton City in four sets to claim the win on Dig Pink night at Wildcat Gym.
After dropping the first set 25-16, the Lady Wildcats won the final three 25-21, 25-18, and 25-21.
The win snapped a 24-match losing streak for Trigg dating back to last year and was the first time since a 2021 win over Russellville that the Lady Wildcats won a match after dropping the first set.
Grace Carver had seven kills for the Lady Wildcats and had a team-high eight aces.
Ashlynn Koch added four kills and four aces, and Grace White had 12 assists and six digs. Abby Johnson was strong on the back line with 15 digs and contributed three kills.
Trigg County (1-15) will play Livingston Central (9-10) on Tuesday in the 5th District Tournament in Smithland.
